eLearning in SLMS

SLMS offers you a number of choices for online learning that you can take anytime and anywhere so long as you have a computer and access to the Internet. To find eLearning, use the Learning Search box on the SLMS home page. Filter to find online learning courses. You can enroll in online learning and launch it directly in SLMS.

Empire KnowledgeBank
Empire KnowledgeBank offers thousands of elearning courses, audio books, videos, and ebooks for professional development, certification preparation, college credit, and continuing education. Topic areas include Information Technology, Desktop Software, Business Skills, and Health and Safety.

OER Online Courses
The Office of Employee Relations offers state agencies online training on a variety of topics including Internal Controls, Privacy and Security of Health Information, and Sexual Harassment in the Workplace.

NYS & CSEA Partnership for Training and Education
The Partnership’s online program is free to CSEA-represented employees and has over 2,600 courses including Business Skills, Computer Skills, Personal Development courses, and Health and Safety courses.

Public Services Workshop Programs (PSWP)
General PSWP courses serve those PEF-represented members and others in occupations that transverse job titles and state agencies. They provide more general topics covering fundamental skills in a broad range of content areas.
