Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify the elements of the workplace violence prevention law and regulations
  2. Define workplace violence and list the types
  3. Identify the workplace violence prevention policy and program requirements and know where to obtain or view a written copy
  4. Be aware of risk factors and prevention efforts
  5. Know how to report incidents of workplace violence
    • With NYS Department of State (DOS)
    • With NYS Department of Labor (DOL)
