Each agency must develop and implement:
- A written policy statement on the agency’s workplace violence prevention program that describes goals and objectives
- A method for incident reporting
- Participation of an Authorized Employee Representative (AER) - An AER is an employee authorized by the employees or the designated representative of any employee organization recognized or certified to represent the employees pursuant to Article 14 of the Civil Service Law.
The policy statement must be displayed where notices to employees are normally posted.
